👉 No, it’s not true that lids aren’t recyclable, they simply just fall through the process because of their size so they need to go to a specialised facility/drop off point
👉 If the lid is larger than a small yoghurt pottle, it is fine to go in your general curbside recycling
👉 If there is no recycling/material number on the lid, it shouldn’t be recycled even if you think it might be a certain number, if you’re wrong it will cause contamination of the good stuff!
👉 Not all specialised facility/drop off points will accept the same selection of lid material types, check first!
