Despite not being in the polystyrene industry, learning more about this material offered perfect examples of how general consumers have no way of knowing when totally different products are in fact made from the same material.

We were also able to show a direct comparison of two products by different brands made from the same problematic material where ones recyclability is identifiable and ones is not.

What we’re learning is that consumers are beginning to inspect their potential purchases for information like this and it is becoming increasingly obvious that the products with helpful/informative labelling are gaining a competitive advantage with those customers aiming to buy more planet friendly products.
