Morena everyone 👋

Just like you, we’re always coming across new examples and things to think about in regards to recycling ♻️ and proper waste disposal. We’ve recently shared a bit about the NZ soft plastic packaging scheme and thought this packaging item was a great example of just how tricky doing the right thing can be!

As we know, the general rule of thumb for soft plastic is that if the item is ‘scrunchable’, it’s more than likely suitable for the scheme. Unlike other plastic recycling, looking for a number doesn’t necessarily apply to soft plastic recycling as there often isn’t one (you won’t find a number on Glad Wrap for example). However, we wanted to show you this as a great example as to why it’s useful to have a look anyway 🙌

Check it out! ▶️
